Amanda and Christopher's maternity session

How do I even start this blog post? It's about to get sentimental.

Amanda and Christopher will always have a special place in my heart! I meet them as a recently engaged couple during their engagement session in Winter Park a few years back. I think we laughed and giggled the entire shoot and shared some deep parts of our journeys too.

We were then honoured to get to photograph their wedding. It would be the last wedding my Husband and I photographed together before he passed away from cancer just a few months later.

He was so sick at the time but made a decision to be a part of capturing their wedding day no matter what. Some clients ask me what will happen if I'm unable to photograph their wedding (which is an important question) - and I'm proud to say that I have never missed a wedding- ever. I photographed a wedding 3 days after my husband passed away. Most people would see this am unbearable task- but I had made a decision that as long as I have two legs and two arms- I will be there.

Just like I had been there for Amanda and Christopher documenting some of their most important moments of their lives, they had been there for me while going through some of my hardest moments of my life.

I was so happy to find out that Amanda and Christopher were blessed with TWINS. Our reunion was a heartwarming one during our maternity session at Cypress Grove Estate Park. We laughed and caught up just like old friends. The most amazing things is, that Amanda Gave birth just a couple of days after our session! These images are super special to me!

Rebecca and Dennis's Family Session at Cypress Grove Estate House

I Love watching families and their children grow. This was the case when photographing Rebecca and Dennis's Beautiful family. Their two gorgeous girls grew so much since the last time I did their family portraits. They flew in from the Netherlands for their annual Florida vacation and left in time to dodge the hurricane (Irma). Along with their immediate family members, we headed to Cypress Grove Estate Park to capture some late morning pictures.

I Love photographing at Cypress Grove Estate Park not only because it is a beautiful Park located adjacent to a large lake, but because you don't need a permit to have a photoshoot there- which is a huge plus, especially for last minute photo shoots.  The Park sits on 80 Acres of perfectly manicured lawns, all on the cusp of Lake Jessamine. The Mature Cypress trees aren't bad either! They brought along their siblings this time and I had such a blast capturing all of the fun. Rebeccas Parents were also celebrating their 40th Wedding Anniversary! What a perfect way to capture such a beautiful time in their lives with all of their kids
